Georgia Private Home Care Providers may offer three service categories. The right starting point depends on the person’s needs, the agency’s current authorization, and an individualized service plan.
Three categories

May include: Companionship, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, supervision
Respectful, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, shaped around comfort, dignity, and independence.

Clinical care delivered by a licensed RN or LPN when nursing is part of the agency's current authorization and service plan.
May include: Medication administration, wound care, catheter care, assessments
Choosing care
Think about where support would make the day safer, calmer, or more manageable. That may be companionship and household help, hands-on assistance with personal routines, or a licensed nursing procedure.
Care should be matched to assessed needs and documented in a clear service plan. Needs can change, so ongoing communication matters.
